Background: Whether or not the being referring to himself as Livid Angel really is a deific being or not is open to debate. What is known is that he is extremely powerful, even by superhuman standards. He is currently incarcerated in a "super-prison" in the Nevada desert. He is being held pending criminal trial. He was captured by the Crusaders after tearing a seventeen state wide swath through dozens of different criminal organizations and murdering over two hundred known and suspected members of those organizations. At first, there was no apparent pattern to the killing, but interviews with the Livid Angel and subsequent investigation by law enforcement agencies has linked virtually all of the victims to illegal activities such as drug distribution or organized murder. All the Angel's murders were brutal, yet swift; the victims were not tortured. Livid Angel lives up to his name in at least one sense: he is always angry to the point of explosive rage.

Personality/Motivation: Livid Angel is a never-ending whirlwind of berserk fury on a rampage for Justice.

Personal Quote: "Yeah, I'm pissed off. You would be too if He sent you down to clean things up and then left you to rot under the archaic legal code of the mortals.

"Those scumbags deserved what I gave them. Drugs, prostitution, rape, assassinations, slow tortuous murder. You name it, they had done it. The mortal police have gathered mountains of evidence regarding their crimes against other mortals. You can't begin to imagine the list of crimes that We had.

"Now I've got to put up with these moronic priests trying to convince me to repent for my ‘sins.' What do they know about sin? I'm one of the Host! How dare they tell me about sin! At least the newspapers are calling them ‘valiant sins.'

"Now, I'm locked up in a jail cell like a mortal. Just wait until I get back to Heaven. I've got a few choice words for Him."

Powers/Tactics: Livid Angel is immensely powerful, and he knows it. Only his millenia of experience protects him from his blinding temper, and he won't make stupid or obvious mistakes no matter how angry he becomes.

Appearance:   As an Angel he is very tall (6'7") and has dense body tissue, giving him a much heigher weight than is apparent..

Campaign Use: Livid Angel, if not used as part of the Heavensent is best used as a grand scale villain in a dark or gritty campaign. All of the Heavensent provide a morally ambiguity and moral dillema for some PCs. The Heavensent can reach many criminals who are otherwise beyond the law or just hard to get to. The Heavensent also dispense justice only to the guilty (using Cosmic Awareness to be sure). They are protective of the innocent, and will in fact break off their actions if innocent victims could be harmed (this might include breaking of an attack which a child could witness and thus be harmed emotionally).
