The NARL is a body lotion that acts as SPF 9000 sunblock and turns the body into a radio receiver. The NARL must be preset to receive one specific radio frequency before being dispensed from the bottle, but once applied the lotion is sweat-proof and waterproof. The nanites turn the body into a stereo speaker. A light coating of a standard human body is audible by the wearer and a few friends within about five feet. A thicker coating of nanites produces greater volume, but the practical limitation is being comfortably audible within ten to fifteen feet. One bottle weighs 6 ounces, will cover six humans, and costs $25. The nanites will wear out after four hours and become silent. The sunblock protection is available until the user washes with soap.
