Intellectual Property Issues

• United States Copyright Office.  While this is especially useful to those living in the US, it does address the topic of international copyrights.  For quick reference, try Circulation 3.
• Graphic Artists Guild
• The Intellectual Property Center, sponsored by LawOnline, contains a wealth of information on the legal aspects of being creative in business. The site includes news on current court cases dealing with patents, copy Diaries site where three characters tell their tales in their own words.

Play by E-Mail (PBeM)

• pbem.com is a good source of info and list of active games which can be joined or lurked
• Patric Rogers' PBeM Diaries is a good place to learn about PBeMs. Read the diaries of four games that Patric has participated in over time.
• Asymmetry by R. Stevenson is a great general gaming resource and has fun and useful information about PBeMs.

Villains & Vigilantes

• Fantasy Games Unlimited, the original publishers of the V&V RPG.  They also publish other games, and most of the materials are still in print and available.
• UNI Games is the new company by Jeff Dee, co-creator of the V&V RPG.
• V&V and Living Legends Networld
• The WebRPG V&V Forum is the home to many modern V&V nuts. You can also get info about V&V PBeMs running right now.
• Tim Hartin's V&V Emporium has comic chaacter and H.P. Lovecraft creature conversions, mecha rules, and copise of the classic V&V ads from the 1980s. All this and tons of original material.
• Al-Umbra's House of Smiles and Shadows has some good content, including house rules, but most importantly to me it has the entire archive of the original Four Winds PBeM that I was peripherally involved in back around the year 2000.

Champions

• Hero Games created Champions in 1981 and has since expanded that to create the Hero System rules
• Circle of Heroes Webring
• The Champions Write-up Page is a collection of 500+ characters, mostly favorite comic book characters, but also some anime and other movie characters.  You can even find the monsters from Doom and Doom II.
• Gold Rush Games -- The Biggest Voice of Small Press. They also published San Angelo: City of Heroes, which was nominated for an Origins Award.

Battletech

• FASA created Battletech, as Battledroids in 1984 [sic], but they closed the company in 2001. Sucks to see them go. Check their homepage for as long as it remains online.

Shadowrun

• FASA created Shadowrun in 1989, but they closed the company in 2001.  Sucks tons to see them go.  Check their homepage for as long as it remains online.  It appears that WizKids owns Shadowrun now. Hopefully they will treat it at least as well as FASA did.
• The Shadowrun Supplemental is an excellent and attractive electronic journal for Shadowrun.

• Amy Brown Fantasy Art - Fairy Art, Dragons, and More await in this Online Gallery.  I met her at a local natural healing expo a few years ago and have two of her signed pieces.  Gorgeous, gorgeous work from a very nice young woman.
• CafeDNA by Wizard magazine is another good source for comic art. Many original fantasy related pieces, also.
• Claudio Pozas Art & Design A gamer's artist, with lots of D&D work.
• Daydream Graphics is a place to find many artists, including several pieces used in RPGs and for Magic: the Gathering

• Art Gallery Worldwide  A lot of artworks in different styles and media. Website offers a wide variety of features and services that enable customers to buy and sell their art.
• Scott Trotter's very gorgeous site.  Scott has provided some art for patric.net and I'm very pleased to have it.

• Phil Smith, brilliant and charming author of d20 fantasy and short fiction - Slack 'n' Hash
• Dark Continent Gaming has some very good d20 PDFs and they are based in South Africa.
• The Lands of Arekoz is a free campaign setting created and managed by Dark Portal Games.  I was working on it for a while, but since the parent company seems to have died, taking my contracts with them... (assume the link is broken)
  
• The Empire of Sand is "the first DnD 3e website for Egyptian culture. It is also very cool.
• The official source for d20 reference material is the Open Gaming Foundation.

• The D&D Community Council produces the Netbook of Feats
• The Creature Catalog is an online resource for 3e conversions of many classic creatures.

• An annoying little race of critters, perhaps named the "Vac'oosh"?  (I've had email since 1989, and every once in a while I love to run a search against my name just to see what new realms I've permeated *grin*)
• The Dark Side of the Net (Just what it says it is.  They have a link to our fiction page from their fiction page, so it was appropriate to reciprocate.)
• I've been developing some banner ads to use with RPGHost's banner exchange program.  Take a look at them and tell me what you think.
