Background: Was a relatively normal kid from a upper
middle class like background before powers started to manifest. Had no idea
how to control them, so he was accepted in to Teen Core to help him learn
to control his powers.
He is a white South African whose parents are both highly educated and well-respected members of the "liberal" Academia. As a result, he has had many opportunities to learn and gain access to high technology equipment such as computers and electrical engineering equipment. Personality/Motivation: A reasonably normal 16-year old with a very healthy sense of curiosity. Likes to sneak around and evesdrop on others. Quotes: "I heard you coming a kilometer away. No really. You shuffle slightly with your left foot." Powers/Tactics: His Power Blast loses 1d6 Knockback every other die (2, 4, 6). The blast is green in color and makes a "chof" sound when he emits it. When it strikes a target it makes a "ba-doom" sound. His N-Ray vision allows him to see through any light level, including the complete absense of light, but not through solid objects. Against the Darkness power, it should be treated as an Unusual Sense. His sense of hearing is so acute it permits him to judge the range, distance and velocity of sound-emitting objects just as well as if he could see them (Targeting). Appearance: 16-year old male. 5'7" tall, 150 pounds. He is a white South African with dark blond hair and ruddy skin color. Campaign Use: Scanner is a member of Teen Core. Creator's Notes: Character concept inspired by the Heroes Unlimited RPG by Palladium Books and the Revised Villains & Vigilantes RPG by Fantasy Games Unlimited. |
