The Yeltzin Family Tree

Although she barely appears to be in her fifties, according to official records, Anastasia Yeltzin - the Russian superheroine known as Protector of the People - was born in 1884 in a small town in Russia. She grew up and developed limited powers to affect the life forces of others. She married an Austrian superman who had relocated to her home and they had three children. They were local celebrities and would likely have been nothing more special except the Austrian Army felt they were dangers to the Great War effort. The day the Austrian army murdered her husband and kidnapped her children was the day that Anastasia's power grew and the first time she ever used it to harm another. Anastasia threw herself into the war effort and became a staunch defender of the Russian State and a friend of Stalin. Anastasia spent a lot of time and money over the next thirty years searching for her children, but she never did find them. Finally, as the second World War approached, she gave up hope. Near the end of the war, she fell in love with a dashing and brave young serviceman named Yuri Yeltzin. The two married and, because Anastasia never seemed to age, they had eight children. Yuri died in the late 1960's, and a decade later, Anastasia married Yuri's cousin widower Boris.  Boris was good to his step-children and treats them like his own.  Despite Anastasia's great superhuman gifts, none of her children displayed any superhuman powers. However, to date, eight of Anastasia's twenty grand-children have manifested superpowers, although only a few of them have gone public. Anastasia's oldest child is her son Yevgeny Yeltzin. Yevgeny and his wife have eight children of their own. Their oldest is Stanis (Kodiak Steel) at age 28 and their youngest is Viktor (Aeroflat) at age 15. After Stanis are the 24 year-old triplets - Natalia (Hammer), Jennifer (Sickle) and Vyacheslav (Megawatt). Viktor manifested his powers before any of his siblings, and as a result is something of a family celebrity (and brat). Stanis manifested after an accident on Destiny Island, Natalia and Jennifer manifested after chemical treatments applied by a cult-like secret army project, and Vyacheslav manifested after a accident at the nuclear power plant where he worked.
