This is the page for Denali. She's cute, but really shy so it's hard to get any pictures of her. Denali is the tallest mountain in North America. It's a funny
name for her, because she is a really small cat. I didn't always like her, but now we get along pretty well.My girl-human spent many nights freezing her little butt of trying to get Denali to trust her.
(Denali intuitively understood that Kristi was a well trained cat-human who would provide a nice warm home. But Denali had lived outdoors for a long time and it was hard to overcome those old fears.) Now, Denali
is a happy indoor cat (the pampered domestic life is a good thing). After a lot of work, Ghost and I finally convinced her that humans are good for laying on. She now appreciates that a warm lap is one of
her divine feline rights and Denali has no reservations about demanding said warm lap whenever she wants it. Now, we're working on teaching her that it's OK to let them pick you up once in a while (because our humans
are affectionate, warm and cuddly). |
