Background:   Rynn grew up on a spelljammer, a merchant caravan through the Void.  As such, she knows over 30 different names for Horus used throughout the spheres. The caravan primarily supports the Order of the Flame, a fair minded justice-seeking order of Horus recognized in several spheres. Her parents were priests of Horus and members or the Order of the Flame.

Personality / Motivation: Rynn is both a merchant and avenger.  She prefers peaceful resolution to conflict and will take compensation in the form of goods or services most of the time.  However, sometimes justice can only be served by violence, and she is more than willing to prove her tremendous skill with her sword.

Quotes:   "Your actions have harmed the caravan.  Compensation is in order."

Powers / Tactics:   As noted above, Rynn prefers to negotiate before using violence.  She will evaluate the other side and approach from an appropriate position, e.g. strength or humility.  Should peaceful negotiation fail, she can draw her sword with blinding speed and wreck tremendous havoc with sword or spell. Her favorite high level spells are flame strike and rainbow.  Note that her high level spell selection is very limited. Frequently she will be in the company of three to five other priests of Horus.  Their typical tactics will be for one to three priests to take point and provide cover while Rynn unleashes a flame strike and one or two others cast silence and prayer. On the second round, if the option is available, one of the lower level priests will chant to further stack the odds in the priests' favor.

Appearance:  Rynn is very tall for a half-elf at 5'11" with long chestnut hair and fine elfin features. She is 57 years old, but doesn't seem to have aged since she was 25.

Campaign Use:  Rynn is both a paladin and a good way to introduce the Order of the Flame sect of the Church of Horus.
