A magic item for D&D 3e.
The Weapon Ring appears to be a simple steel band that magically alters size to fit any finger from as Small to Giant.
At a command from the possessor, the ring will transform into any melee weapon. The transformation is a free action. The weapon has a +2 enchantment bonus and the keen enchantment. If thrown, the weapon does not return and transforms back into a ring at the end of the next round. If dropped or otherwise lost the weapon transforms back into a ring at the end of the next round.
