Morpheus Unbound | Supporting Cast | Hero System
Created Oct. 1996 by P. Rogers
Background: The "villain" known as Battlesuit copied the Pulsecat battlesuit developed by Hardware and worn by Wendy Brooks. As is his goal in life, he made some modifications to it, declaring to be an "efficient, but underpowered" design. Without ever using his new prototype, he discarded it.
Wayne Thorn found the battlesuit and after some practice volunteered his services to the police. When PRIMUS agents tried to take the battlesuit, he fled and became a vigilante.
He has had a short, but colorful career. He stalks the streets trying to disrupt street crime. He has made enemies of local street gangs and has discovered that PRIMUS (the manufacturer of the Pulsecat battlesuit) and Disaster One (the developer) are both after him to get the suit back.
Personality/Motivation: Thorn has a deep sense of honor and wants to protect his neighborhood from crime. He is shy and nervous since he found the suit, because not only is he an enemy of crime, but he's become a fugitive from the law.
Quote: "If you agree to give yourself up, no one has to get hurt."
Powers/Tactics: The Pulsetiger battlesuit increases the wearer's strength and stamina, has blasters mounted on the forearms, is heavily armored and provides flight via anti-gravity generators.
Appearance: Thorn is 5'10" tall and of average build. He has brown hair and blue eyes. The Pulsetiger battlesuit is black and orange.
Campaign Use: A good hearted vigilante stalking crime in the neighborhood.
Thorn is a 33-year old Talented Normal with a background in facilities management and architecture.
