Background: Palisade is a French supervillain who gained his powers as the result of torture and sensory deprivation experiments carried out on him by the French government.

Palisade is a recent recruit to Richter 13, but he has already demonstrated the necessary bloodlust and ruthlessness required to be a member of the Hand of Glory.  He is arrogant and willful, but he follows orders because he knows failing to do so will get him hurt.  If he doesn't like the orders, he follows them to the letter.

Personality / Motivation:  He was always a bully, getting in to fights and causing trouble.  His disposition has not improved any with the addition of powers.

Powers / Tactics:  Palisade has superhuman strength enabling him to lift/press in excess of 100 tons.  He is also immune to virtually all forms of conventional injury.  His favorite activity is to leap into a crowd of normals, grab the nearest large object and smash everyone he can reach.

Appearance:   Palisade towers at 6'5" and weights about 300 lbs.  He has a crooked nose, broken from too many fights in his youth.
