Heroes & Villains:  As noted elsewhere, there are well over four thousand beings on Earth with significant and measurable levels of superhuman abilities.  For whatever reason, perhaps some aspect of the original source, they tend toward becoming heroes or villains.

Many beings deserve special attention in this journal, but not all of them.  Some are little more than a footnote for now, and I'll add more about them later.

Black Magic:  Black Magic is an enigmatic but powerful wizard who has only been encountered a few times by heroes.  More accurately, his minions of animated skeletons and sword wielding orks have been encountered a few times.  Each time their motives were unclear and they were easily defeated by local heroes.

Bodybag:  A former member of Westguard famous for his regenerative powers, he was killed in action by Novastar.

Horizon:   Trained by the CIA, he is now employed by SHELL.  He has superhuman intelligence and agility combined with martial arts and weapons training.  He would be dangerous enough, but he also can control the weather, is a telekinetic and his five basic senses are heightened far beyond normal parameters.  He has thwarted Simon Shrew on two separate occasions and still lives to tell about it.

Simon Shrew:  A former US Intelligence operative turned freelance assassin.  Natural genius, natural athlete, incredibly dangerous.  Childish if emotionally provoked.  He bears a grudge against Horizon and will exact his revenge some day.
