Biography

While this is my personal journal, I realize that some day I'm going to die and my family, friends, and biographer will want to read this.  So I'd better say a little about myself.  I'm normally protective of my privacy, but I figure if you're reading this, I'm dead, and I want to be remembered accurately [or I'm alive and going to kill you!].

I'm the oldest of three children.  I was born on July 14, 1973.  My sister Melissa was born in 1978 and brother David in 1984.  My parents, Frank and Betty were married in 1970, and I'll spare them by not revealing their ages.  (I just realized we've got such boring names!)

Author's Note:  If I were casting Gravity in a movie I'd recruit actress Angie Harmon.

Some guy will want to know what I looked like, so here is a picture of me.

Height: 5'9",
Eyes:  Brown, with flecks of green when I'm excited,
Hair: Brown; and regardless of length, it always curls at the ends,
Numbers:  34B-28-34

Home Town:  Lexington, Kentucky
College:  University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (volleyball scholarship -- I rule on defense)

I bought my own house, but I'm hardly ever there because I work so much overtime.  As a result I try to get as far away from work as I can when I'm off duty.  When not working, I'm usually out with friends at the gym, the mall, the movies or even the bar.  My brother Dave has a key and I let him use my Sega (with 54" television) in exchange for doing my house-keeping.

I prefer to wear turtlenecks, blouses, slacks and sensible shoes.  I do have some nice dresses, but I can't abide heels ("thank you" to Joline the physical therapy major for enlighting me!)

I studied Spanish in high school and college, and use it on the job sometimes.  I'm far from fluent, but I know enough to get around.

I've been into dance and sports since I was three, and weight training since high school.  I can't bench press a car, but close enough to scare away the creeps and make sure I can move injured people safely and comfortably.  A friend talked me into entering a body building contest once, and it was fun, but I'm not sure I'd do it again.

We're an educated upper middle income family.  My father is a civil engineer by training (now he's in corporate management), my mother is a part time child psychologist.  Melissa is finishing her Political Science degree at U.C. Berkeley and may go on to law school.  David is talking about Computer Science if he survives high school.
