The Order of the Flame is a militant order of clerics and warriors dedicated to the diety Horus. According to legend, six hundred years ago Horus, the Avenger, came to the material realm
and instructed a select group of his clerics to "bring justice to the oppressed, no mattter who the oppressed nor the oppressor." To that end, the Order is has grown to several hundred members and expanded into other
crystal spheres via spelljamming ships. Though a military order, they are not overtly violent and prefer diplomacy and negotiation as the method of their prosetylizing. Rynn Drakan belongs to a branch of the Order that operates a merchant caravan which travels among the Crystal Spheres along a regular route.
