A short-lived Los Angeles, California based hero team (1988-1991).  Although extremely powerful as individuals, they were largely ineffective as a team and accomplished little.

Membership included:  Gauntlet, Mainframe, Steamroller, Amphibian, and Iceblade.

Gauntlet was an inter-dimensional law enforcement agent with mutant light control powers, psionic force field and mystical power armor.  Mainframe possessed telepathy and extensive mystical knowledge.  Amphibian gained his powers in a chemical accident and could fly, project an energy ray that caused fatigue, breathe underwater and had superhuman strength and endurance.  Iceblade had ice powers.  Steamroller had superhuman strength and went on to become a villain and member of the Black Legion.
