15 April 2006 Cosmetic changes, bug fixes, yadda yadda. If you ever find yourself really bored, you can look at the HTML source of these pages and find all sorts of intersting things, like exactly when I updated each page (I comment out the old dates rather than overwrite them), and other interesting things I am sure will embarass me if you actually find :-).
04 March 2006 I had honestly planned to never do anything with this section of the site again, but then Scott Trotter came along and offered me some of his gorgeous artwork for free. I'm smart enough to take advantage of an offer like that. Scott's first piece for Brian Wong's Watch Tower Universe is for Ultra Boy. Check it out.

As part of the revised clean-up, I will be in a very non-systematic fashion (because it takes time and I just don't care to spend all that time on this archive site right now),  I will be removing the top-of-page navigation links to "Brian's Official Site" and "Jerome's Official Site" because neither exists anymore. My site is still labeled "Unofficial" because Brian never officially "blessed" it, although I'm sure he did approve of it and appreciate the gesture, and the lack of sanction was an oversight on his part of failing of my memory, whichever.  I'm a bit odd about protocol that way, so I'm not going to claim any official sanction without being very clear that I have it :-)

I'm also removing the bottom-of-page affiliate links to Affinity Hosting because patric.net is now hosted with 1and1. Affinity treated me well for seven years, but during that same time they developed a ton of new service packages far superior to the one I had (at less cost too), never bothered to tell me about them, and when I asked their service people for a recommendation on a new package that would meet my simple needs they said "look around and pick one."  So I did — with 1and1.

31 July 2004 General cleanup. I finally reinstalled AOLPress 2.0 and decided to spend some time cleaning up the old sites. Obviously, this game has been done for many years, but I still love creating and so I've kept the material up. I'll probably keep it up as long as I own patric.net (like, forever).
22 December 2001 Updated the WebRing code because WebRing is no longer owned by Yahoo!  Removed the ListBot code because once upon a time ListBot died and I don't care to find a replacement for it since this site is just an archive site anyway.
28 July 2000 Added an Aberrant version of Kodiak Steel's character sheet. Boosted Shieldwall's utility by giving him some offensive ability.  A batch of minor cosmetic updates.
05 May 2000 A batch of minor cosmetic updates.
03 March 2000 A batch of minor cosmetic updates.
03 December 1999 Added some to Iceberg's V&V transliteration. A batch of minor cosmetic updates.
24 September 1999 Using Aaron Sullivan's Marvel Superheroes / Hero System conversion notes, I upda÷ted Kodiak Steel's MSH character sheet. I added the "Join List" code to the main page. Now you can subscribe and get email notification of site updates.
11 June 1999 For no particular reason, I transliterated Iceberg into Villains & Vigilantes game stats.
05 March 1999 Some recent feedback suggested that I should mention some of the history of this site, so I'll do that here.

In the summer of 1998, Brian let me take a turn at GM. I adapted a 1985 Marvel Superheroes adventure book and tried running that adventure while using the New Conquerors as a subplot. Unfortunately, the NC took over just like they always do, and the entire story got royally screwed up (mea culpa).  This is one of the factors leading to my resignation om the game.   (The NC were supposed to be accidental visitors from another dimenion, and the pulp ethics of the WT Universe affected their minds and brought out the true darkness within them.  While I still feel the heroes could have defeated the NC in a fight, the fact is that I portrayed the NC so well that the players were too intimidated to start a fight with them). Several of the villains here are adaptations of Marvel Comics characters.  For some of them, I copied existing Champions characters, and in other cases I simply made my own numbers.  The original book called for Contrictor (Constrictor / Whip), Sabertooth (Pathfinder), Melter (Melter / Pulsar), Mauler (Cloverleaf / Mechassassin), the Raiders (Raiders), the Leader (Other) and his Synthetic Hulks (Synthoids / Ogre), and Blizzard (Freezerburn / Cold Warrior).

12 February 1999 Changed all the Morpheus Unbound links to the new site.  Changed all the Patric L. Rogers links to my preferred site.
13 November 1998 Just a few corrections here and there.  Added some new Disadvantages to Scanner, although he really still needs a few more to properly flesh him out.
06 November 1998 I've resigned from the Watch Tower campaign, so there won't be much new material up here after this.  I'll keep this site up as I've had way too much fun to take it down.

The usual spate of nips and tucks. Added a couple quotes to Kodiak Steel.  Added character sheets for two of the Yeltzin triplets.

30 October 1998 The usual spate of nips and tucks. Cleaned up the Who's Who and added the Yeltzin family.  Updated the dangling plotines to reflect the near conclusion of my term as GM (see Cascade in the Who's Who). I updated all the pages because Jerome's site got the official seal of approval.
23 October 1998 The usual spate of nips and tucks.  Removed Tiamat from the Who's Who list at Jerome's request.  Added several people to the Who's Who, including Doctor Apocalypse, Doctor Death, Doctor Draconis, Stinger and the villain group Deathstroke.
16 October 1998 Added the Yeltzin Family and their supporting documents including an update of Aeroflat to reflect his new family information. Changed Kodiak Steel again to update him for Watch Tower Volume 2.  Updated the dangling plotines.  Cleaned up the advantages on Scanner's EB and the related power description.  The usual spate of nips and tucks.

Renamed the "At some point I'd like to GM..." section to "Other world material" to reflect the fact that I did GM, and this section represents my non-character contributio to the WTU.  At the same time, I changed the purpose of the "other notes" to be for material completely unrelated to the WTU, but that I still thought was kind of neat.

08 October 1998 Updated the dangling plotlines page to include the status of Quantum Flux. Added the Who's Who page. Added graphics to Powerdancer and Kodiak Steel. The usual spate of nips and tucks.
06 October 1998 Just a bug fix or three on various pages. Changed the HTML fragment for the Hall of Justice Webring, because apparently the old one wasn't working. We'll see if this new one works any better.
05 October 1998 I've got a What's New page!

Added the dangling plotlines section. Changed the artwork for the Raiders. Added supervillain Morningstar. Added superhero Powerdancer. Switched from AOLPress to HomeSite 3.0 as my HTML editor and it's a significantly better editor. I made a lot of subtle changes too, throughout the site.
